Thank You for Joining Our Region 8 Festival of Quilts Zoom Presentation

A heartfelt thank you to all 50 members who joined us for our Region 8 Festival of Quilts Zoom Presentation earlier this month. It was a real pleasure to see so many friendly faces and share in a lovely evening of quilting inspiration.

We thoroughly enjoyed looking through the winning quilts, as well as the many beautiful entries from talented quilters from across Region 8. The creativity and craftsmanship on display were truly something to be proud of.

A particular highlight was the Wearables Challenge, where Region 8 members truly wowed us with their handmade patchwork clothing. From striking jackets to imaginative dresses, waistcoats, and accessories, it was a joy to see quilting artistry brought to life in such stylish and inventive ways.

The evening was rounded off nicely with reviews of the excellent talks and workshops that the festival of Quilts had on offer, and of course, sharing some of the purchases that were made—always a treat!

Thank you once again for your support and enthusiasm. It’s your participation that makes these events so special. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
