There are a number of ways that the Guild can raise funds and we would be so grateful if you would help us with this. The first and most effective way to support us is to join us and join in with our activities..
All donations are most welcome and play an important part in helping us to do our work as an educational charity dedicated to patchwork and quilting.
The Quilters' Guild online shop specialises in unique gifts, patterns, books and more to celebrate our British patchwork and quilting heritage. All profits from Quiltworks go directly to support the work of The Quilters' Guild, and Guild members can access a 10% discount on all items by using their membership number.
We are always working hard to help you make the most of your membership. That's why we partner with quilting and sewing shops up and down the country to get you discounts in your area. All of the shops listed in the 10% Discount Club will offer Quilters' Guild members a 10% discount upon production of their membership card or membership number. Why not take a look to see who is local to you?
Please ask your favourite shop to get in touch with us if they wish to be listed on our website and become part of the scheme.

We are registered as a charity on easyfundraising, an online shopping platform which encompasses thousands of retailers who will donate for free when you shop. Brands such as M&S, John Lewis, Tesco, Boots, Ebay, Sky, Expedia, Direct Line and Currys PC World are partners in this scheme which allows you to donate to The Guild as you shop. To do this, first visit easyfundraising.org.uk, and search for The Quilters' Guild of the British Isles in the 'causes' box, you can then follow through to set up an account and start shopping. The Guild will receive commission on everything you buy, from a holiday to a food shop, and it won't cost you a penny!
Throughout the year people can raise money for The Guild in many ways. Whether you choose to hold a fundraising event such as a garden party or coffee morning, or raise funds for The Guild by making for or supporting such events your contribution is appreciated.
Each year at The Festival of Quilts one of our Special Interest groups or Regions is responsible for organising The Guild Tombola. The items in the tombola are made by Guild members from all over the country, and donated to raise funds for The Guild. The theme changes each year and we welcome each and every contribution made.
We'd also like to give a huge thank you to the teams who take care of this each year.
In 2024 Region 2 will be offering zipped items on the tombola - for example purses, bags, pouches, coin holders, zippy embellishments etc. Full information on page 5 of the winter 2023 issue of The Quilter.
