Membership of The Quilters’ Guild is all about belonging. Whether you’re an individual quilter, a local group, or someone looking to give a meaningful gift, there’s a way to be part of our community.

We offer a variety of membership types including free membership for Young Quilters, Student pricing, as well as affiliation options for Groups and Schools.

Each route offers access to Guild benefits and helps support the work we do for quilters across the UK so however you choose to get involved, you’ll be supporting our mission whilst gaining access to a wide network of quilting activity across the country.

Individual Membership

When you join the Guild as an individual, you become part of a national community of quilters. Your membership gives you:

• Access to all Regions — you can attend events anywhere in the UK, not just locally

• Discounts, early booking, and special member rates (e.g. for the Festival of Quilts)

• Eligibility for bursaries, awards, and support to further your quilting skills

• Access to newsletters, technical resources, and Guild publications

• A say in Guild governance (voting rights, ballots, etc.)

Membership is valid for 12 months from the date you join or renew.

Affiliated Group Membership

If your stitching, embroidery, textiles, or quilting group, or sewing circle would like to link up with the national Quilters' Guild, you can affiliate your group. Affiliation offers benefits such as:

• Public Liability Insurance coverage for your group’s meetings, exhibitions, and events

• Visibility via the Guild’s website and access to Guild communications

• Support, guidance, and connection to other affiliated groups

• Ability to partner with the Guild on shared events and promotions

Affiliation helps your group gain legitimacy, insurance, and reach — while members of your group can link into the wider Guild network.

Give the gift of Membership

If you’d like to give someone a gift that keeps on giving, you can gift a membership to a friend, relative, or quilting buddy. With Guild membership, your gift includes:

• A way to support the Guild’s mission as your gift also contributes to the Guild’s work

• A thoughtful gesture for a craft lover, new quilter, or someone who would enjoy being part of the community

Plus all the benefits of full-membership:

• Access to all Regions — you can attend events anywhere in the UK, not just locally

• Discounts, early booking, and special member rates (e.g. for the Festival of Quilts)

• Eligibility for bursaries, awards, and support to further your quilting skills

• Access to newsletters, technical resources, and Guild publications

• A say in Guild governance (voting rights, ballots, etc.)
