Affiliated Group membership

Please read our Affiliated Groups Guide for useful information about Affiliated Group membership and insurance

We welcome groups involved in Patchwork, Quilting and associated stitched textiles to join The Guild as an Affiliate. Affiliation offers several benefits to groups including Public Liability Insurance cover for group meetings, events and exhibitions.

What are the key benefits of Affiliation for my group?

  • 20% discount on pre-booked group visits to The Quilters' Guild Museum Collection
  • hire the Collection's Travelling Trunks at the reduced Guild rate - please note this service is currently suspended; we are developing a new offering and will let all groups know when it is launched
  • a regular digital Regional Newsletter for your area (or a single hard copy of the regular Regional Newsletter, if the region doesn't produce a digital version)
  • free listing of your events in your Regional Newsletter
  • manage your group's listing on the Regional website
  • Public Liability Insurance up to a maximum level of members (subject to the submission of Insurance Request & Risk Assessment forms): insurance for your regular group meetings plus five public events per Affiliation year; extra public events can be covered for an additional fee.
  • Each individual in an Affiliated Group is eligible to sign up for our regular e-newsletter
  • We will send your main group contact information about your Affiliation by email

Find out more about Affiliation and how to join in our Affiliated Groups Guide and our Constitution advice for local groups before joining online via the button below.

Becoming an affiliated group does not bestow personal Guild membership on the individuals within the group but there are many benefits to having personal Guild membership. Whether you'd like to become a regular at regional days or join in our online activities and communities, we're sure that personal membership will also enhance your quilting life. Through a personal membership you can learn about and support our Museum Collection, visit events, train with us, gain access to Special Interest Groups and enjoy our dedicated members' publication, The Quilter.

Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we take care of your information.
