To mark the 45th Anniversary of The Quilters' Guild this year, Region 6 welcomed an extra special guest - Sarah Hibbert. Sarah gave a talk during the morning session and led a collage activity in the afternoon. Members had made 39 blue focussed quilts for Project Linus by way of celebrating their talents and the joy quilting brings to them. The audience were invited to vote for their favourite Linus quilt and a small prize was won by Avril Horn. At the end of the day the Project Linus quilts were divided between Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
Sarah was a very entertaining speaker.
We were spellbound.
We all admired this one.

Cutting and sticking is such hard work.
It takes a lot of concentration.
And requires a lot of organisation.
But we did enjoy ourselves.
