Region 6

Region 6 covers Berkshire and Oxfordshire and, at present, has over 200 members. We have two Regional Days a year, one in Oxfordshire and one in Berkshire.

The Oxfordshire regional day is usually towards the end of the year and includes a mini-workshop, an invited speaker and a 'Show and Tell' of members' work. There will also be an invited trader plus a fundraising raffle. A similar regional day is held in Berkshire in the spring.

We also hold Summer Lunches and Christmas Coffee Mornings, again one of each in Oxfordshire and in Berkshire. These are usually well attended and are a good way of meeting fellow quilters. At these events members bring their work along for a 'Show and Tell' session which are interesting, supportive and inspiring to other members. This is a time for members to get to know one another and to exchange ideas.

A range of quilt/textile groups are active within the region. Some of these are affiliated to the Quilters Guild, while others are not. The groups which we know about are listed on another page. Please let us know if any of the contact details need updating, or if you know of a new group, or one which has ceased to exist in your local area so that the list can be kept accurate.
