XFirst Thursday of the month 9.30 - 2.30
A friendly social gathering, who share a passion for hand and machine sewing, willing to share our passion and skills. There are demonstrations and mini workshops on a regular basis.
Meetings are twice a month (first and third Wednesday), 7-9pm in Walkington, 3 miles from Beverley.

The Silver Quilters are a small group of friendly ladies , who meet up to sew ,quilt and share ideas and skills. A wide range of abilities and styles are to discovered inside the cosy hall where they meet. Shall I put the kettle on is most probably the most used sentence within the group.
Wednesday
1st and 3rd 10 am-12 hand sewing and quilting
2nd and 4th 10am -2:00 pm machine and hand quilting
5th Wednesday workshop by internal or guest trainer
Group of 25 meeting weekly. We provide help and support to new members through a programme of in-house and external workshops. There is an emphasis on quilting but we also cater for other associated crafts.

Our group meets every two weeks on a Wednesday morning for quilting and associated crafts. Everyone is very friendly and there is always someone who can help with your project. We have demonstrations by the members and occasionally have a speaker. We are a small group and welcome new members
A friendly group of quilters, we hold two regular sewing days each month. Our evening meetings generally include a project demo. We hold an exhibition every two years to raise money for a local charity.

We are a group of 30 members which meets weekly to sew and quilt - our numbers are limited to 30 as we can bring our machines and the size of the hall we use - we have a weekly meeting to pass on news and events and also have a show and tell of finished items

Members bring their own projects to work on and we occasionally have tutors to come and do a workshop with the group.
We are a group of around 50 enthusiastic patch workers and quilters of all levels from complete novices to the very experienced.
The aim of the group is to support and encourage participation in all aspects of the quilting craft.
Our monthly meetings cover a range of activities and our sewing days give members the opportunity to work together in an informal atmosphere.
Every 3 years we hold an exhibition in the local church giving members the chance to show their work to a larger audience whilst raising money for a local charity.
The group meets twice monthly; a day meeting on the first Tuesday of the month giving members the opportunity to sew together and take advantage of a large space to work on those large pieces and an evening meeting on the third Tuesday of the month. The evening meeting may have a speaker, a mini workshop or other focused activity. Several full day workshops are held every year with a visiting leader. Membership is £35 per year
Raw Edgers is a small and very friendly group of quilters, patchworkers and hand stitchers. We meet on the third Wednesday of the month and have a wonderful time.

Sherburn Patchwork Group are a small informal group of quilters who sit and sew together once a month.
New members welcome, experience not necessary.
Meet on the 3rd Friday of each month. 10am-4pm.
We are a group of people consisting of approximately 20 members who enjoy patchwork, quilting and some hand sewing. sometimes members lead the group and other times we have tutors in to undertake projects with us. We generally meet the third Friday in the month and occasionally the fifth Friday. We usually do not meet in July and August as well as December.
We meet in a village Centre within a modern building which has its own fully fitted kitchen. We usually meet the third Friday and fifth Friday of the month. We start at 10 and finish at 3 with 30 mins to set up and 30 mins to clear up. We generally do not meet in July and August as well as December.
White Rose Quilters are a friendly group who meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month in St Chad's Church Hall, 7.30-9.30 pm . We welcome anyone with an interest in patchwork and quilting and our members have a range of skills and abilities from absolute beginner to more expert. We meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month at St Chad's Church Hall, 7.30-9.30 pm (not August), plus we aim to have a couple of Saturday sewing retreats in the church hall as part of the programme.
We try to alternate meetings where we have a speaker with those where we try out a particular technique or style. All of them include show and tell, tea and biscuits and lots of chat.

Our group is called STaN (Sewing Textiles and Needlework) and we aim to cover a wide range of activities within the remit of our name. Quilting, patchwork and embroidery of all descriptions are of interest to our members. We do in house workshops and talks led by both members and outside speakers. We all have a love of textiles and share anything we have seen with the other members.
We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month September to July from 7pm to 9pm. We have an annual subscription and a £2 meeting fee for members, £5 for visitors. Refreshments are provided.
A friendly group, we meet monthly to sew, admire one another’s work, enjoy workshops, often led by a member and monthly challenges. Everything we do is optional: if you don’t fancy the plan for the evening, bring your own sewing. No one will mind.

Calder Quilters is a self help group of quilters of all abilities.
Calder Quilters meet at the Maurice Jagger Centre in Halifax. Meetings are held on the first and third Fridays of the month from 1.30 p.m. until 4.00 p.m.
Workshops and Own Sewing Days are held three to four times a year.
Like minded people who inspire, facilitate and support members create and promote the art of stitching.
Members meet on the 2nd Monday of every month from 10.00-3.30.
Meetings take place at Kirkheaton Parish Centre, Huddersfield.
Mornings are generally for members own stitching and sometimes there is a workshop running alongside.
Speakers usually start at 1.30pm.

Roundhay Quilters meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, except August, from 10.00am to 12.00 noon at St Andrew's Church Hall, Shaftesbury Avenue
