Region 15W Banner - Hill & Valley
In amongst the magnificent hills, lush valleys and serene lakes of R15W, QG members are undoubtedly outnumbered by sheep ? but we?re a hardy and determined group happy to welcome all comers to our hilly corner of Heaven.
We make sure to hold Guild events at venues all over the county so that no-one is disadvantaged by long journeys and welcome visitors from bordering Regions at any of our Regional or Area days.
The Region covers not only the Lake District National Park and the area of South Lakeland adjoining the Lancashire border, but also the more industrialised coastal areas reaching from Barrow-in-Furness in the South, up through Sellafield and the mining districts along the west coast, to Carlisle and the Scottish Borders.
Region 15West is, geographically, the county of Cumbria.
