Region 2

Welcome to the Region 2

We cover Kent, Surrey and Sussex and have over 700 Individual Members and 63 Affiliated Groups across the Region. The latter meet, at least every month with Speakers and Workshops.

We, as a Region, host many workshops with top quilters from all over the country and sometimes from further afield - as a Member you are entitled to attend any of these and will receive a discount of one third of the ticket price.

We also hold Regional Days at which there will be at least two speakers with contrasting styles or one speaker and a related workshop. These Days are open to everyone but advance booking may give you a price advantage.

As well as workshops in your area or in the rest of the region, there are Stash Sales (an opportunity to sell fabrics and notions surplus to your needs) and talks by well knows quilters. Keep an eye on our calendar of events.

We encourage young people to sew by joining one of our many Young Quilter Groups and they are welcome to get involved with our make and Take areas at our regional days.

All Region 2 Representatives and the rest of the Committee are listed at the front of our quarterly magazine, Two's Company. We are all volunteers who enjoy having fun running all the events in which you can participate. Do get in touch if you would like to join us.
