Fibrefusion

Fibrefusion was set up in 2000 by Pauline Verrinder as a Contemporary Textile art group. The group continues today meeting once a month in Fornham St Martin near Bury St Edmunds. We use a range of materials and techniques with the focus on stitched textiles. Members come from a wide area including Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex. Each year a title is chosen by the group as a focus for our work. We develop our own design ideas, responding to the theme. Group challenges are also undertaken and our final pieces are showcased at an exhibition each year. The group works in a supportive fashion, discussing work and suggesting ideas.
