Natural Dye for Fabrics

A small group enjoyed a fascinating day with Tara MacDonald in which she introduced us to a vast array of natural dyes, including avocado, nettles, marigold and buddleia, to name but a few. She showed us a variety of fabrics and how to prepare them for dyeing and the basic equipment needed to get started. Then it was over to us for a day of fun, experimenting and obvious enjoyment.
