For a long time, we have wanted to host our members who live in the Swindon and Devizes areas in the northern parts of our region. Thanks to Sara Bottomley and Karen Preece we have, at last, managed it.

On Saturday 10 February we held an Area Day in the Village Hall at Easterton. Karen and Sara were delighted that 18 members turned out to make 'Stack the Deck' blocks and scissor holders.

Everyone agreed that this is a fast and easy way to make a very quick quilt - Pam managed 12 blocks in the day! You do need to exercise a bit of concentration but as you will see, the results are well worth the brain cells!

The scissor holders were also very easy to make and will prove very useful I'm sure.
