This is a pattern by Sassafras Lane designs. I was blown away by the picture and wanted to accept the challenge as a different sampler quilt. It has all been done over papers and I was up to my ankles in scraps after trimming and squaring. I enjoyed the colour changes of the blocks and borders.

Started as a plaids and stripes workshop with Rebecca Collins using the jewel box block, this quilt languished unfinished until I completed it for my mothers 90th Birthday. Now it has been returned to me from Australia, I am pleased to be able to share it. Machine pieced and hand quilted.

I admired the cut glass panel in the front door of my son's house the first time I saw it. This quilt takes inspiration from the glass except for the size. I've made this hanging to fit the very old stairwell I have in my old farmhouse.

Our trip to Festival of Quilts 2022 was the inspiration for this quilt. We imagined Sunbonnet Sue rampaging around the show doing what she does best, leaving mayhem as she goes! We challenged ourselves to produce a variety of miniature quilts.

Inspired by the theme 'Journeys', I have decided to revisit rust dyeing, something I have wanted to do for a while. My husband's scrap metal pile had some interesting pieces that I managed to save! I've used various car parts; the most pleasing results have come from brake disks! These parts have had a life and travelled many journeys before embarking on the latest journey - to colour my fabrics! Hand embellished using various techniques and objects.
