Coffee Morning & Sewing Social at Franklins, Ipswich

Join us for something a little different at our Region 8 Coffee Morning & Sewing Social at Franklins, Ipswich! This is more than just our usual coffee morning — we will have use of the sewing room at Franklins, complete with sewing machines, giving you the chance to spend the day sewing, chatting and enjoying time with fellow quilters.

You can work on one of our suggested projects, bring along your own sewing, or simply enjoy some hand sewing if that’s more your thing. We will also have a Show & Tell, so please bring along your latest project or something you have recently made to share with everyone.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake will be on offer throughout the day, plus there will be discounts available on purchases in store. We hope you will join us for a relaxed day of sewing and socialising, while supporting Franklins, one of our Region 8 businesses.

You are welcome to stay for as much or as little of the day as you wish. If you are planning to stay all day, you may wish to bring a packed lunch. Booking is essential and will help us with numbers and preparations, so please book your place even if you’re only planning to pop in for part of the day.

The event is open to all, so why not bring along a friend?

Please be aware: the sewing room is located up two flights of stairs, with no lift access.
