Upcoming Events and Exhibitions

Our speaker is Kay Goddard from Kalico K Quilts, who will be sharing her fascinating talk:

“First & Second World War Signature & Prison Quilts”

Kay will explore the war effort and prisoner quilting, looking at the skills and sacrifices surrounding these remarkable quilts. She’ll share stories of ingenuity, bravery and the important role quilting played during wartime.

We are sure this will be a fascinating afternoon, with plenty of wonderful quilts and stories to discover.

Tickets are £5 for visitors, payable on the door, and booking your place helps us when organising refreshments.

The hall is open from 1pm for a cuppa and a catch up.

We ask that you arrive by 1.45pm so that we can make a prompt start at 2pm.

Talks normally last around an hour after which there is time for more refreshments and a closer look at the quilts.
