Sue Belton was a quilt teacher in the early days of The Guild, who
died quite suddenly and left money to further the educational work of
The Guild. This Prize, worth £600, is aimed at Guild members who are
novice quilters and wish to learn more and improve their skills in
patchwork, quilting or applique. To be eligible you must have started
quilting no more than five years before applications are judged at the
Conference and AGM. The Prize is awarded at the Conference and AGM
every two years in odd-numbered years to fund education activities. The
closing date for applications is 28 February of the same year. Download the Sue Belton Memorial Prize Guidelines or contact The Guild for more information.
