When I was 4 years old my mother taught me to knit and sew. Ever since then I have always been making something, mainly knitting.
2 years ago when I retired I decided to learn patchwork and quilting and just enjoyed doing it so much I enrolled onto the City and Guilds Certificate course, which I enjoy immensely.
I joined the Guild last year and am in region 7, but right on the border of region 9, I have been to events organised by both regions and can say wholeheartedly both regions committees do a great job.
In 2018 I moved to Lincolnshire, near to Grimsby, making me in Region 10 now. I have yet to attend any face to face meetings, but have enjoyed, joining with the Zoom meetings the committee have arranged over the 2020/21 lockdown period.
