Jacqueline Taylor

I have been sewing for many years. Attended the local college when I left school to learn dressmaking and pattern making at the age of 15. I was sewing long before that on a child's sewing machine bought by my parents for Christmas. The only thing was that it had a chain stitch only and if you didn't tie off the stitch it would just pull straight out. Very annoying at times but made many clothes for my dolls. I went on to get a job in a dressmakers.

I married young and went on to make clothes for my daughters, as well as there wedding dresses and my grandchildren's dresses, and now on occasion my great granddaughter's dresses.

I started quilting about 6/7 years ago. I now teach quilting/Patchwork/Applique and Textile Art, ( I gained my teaching qualification over 20 years ago). I love what I do, as well as learning new techniques.
