I have been quilting since the late 1980's. The first quilt I made was for my daughter, who was born in Cyprus in 1991. I enjoy a variety of techniques, but am particularly attracted to the work of Gwen Marston who specialised in improvised piecing. The picture shows my version of the Red House Manor B.O.M. I have just finished the top in February 2021. It includes some wonky stars in homage to Gwen and also to reference my husband who is an astrophotographer.
