Quilters' Guild Staff

Chief Executive - Chris Gatman

Chris works with trustees, staff and members to ensure that The Quilters' Guild and its Accredited Museum Collection continue to grow and thrive.

Administrator - Judith Emmer

Judith is studying for a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship at York College and gaining her work-based experience at The Quilters' Guild. Judith works Tuesday to Thursday 9.00 to 5.00.

Business Manager - Christine Morton

Christine is responsible for finance, contracts and the safe and efficient operation of the Guild offices.  In addition Chris works to develop opportunities and partnerships which will bring benefit to Guild members and/or additional funds to The Guild. Christine works Tuesday to Thursday from 9.00 to 5.00.

Young Quilters Project Leader - Sarah Illing

Through the Young Quilters Project Sarah works to support our voluntary Young Quilter Representatives across the UK and develop the work The Guild does with young people.  Sarah usually works Monday and Thursday.

Curator of The Quilters' Guild Collection - Heather Audin

Heather cares for the Collection and works with the Collections Committee to create exhibitions and other opportunities to view items in The Quilters' Guild Collection.

Brand Manager - Catherine Candlin

Catherine ensures that Guild branding, marketing and retailing reflects our values and ethos.  She is also available to support Regions and Specialist Groups to develop their marketing upon request. Catherine works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Marketing & Communications - Gilly Storey

Gilly is the Editor of The Guild e-newsletter and QShop newsletters, and contributes to The Guild’s social media presence.  Gilly usually works Wednesday & Thursday.

QGBI Enterprises

Retailer - Cathy Hook

Cathy runs the Quilters' Guild online shop, replenishing, packing and sending stock to customers.  Cathy is also responsible for arranging advertising in The Quilter.  Cathy usually works Monday and Tuesday.

Business Support - Lindsey Park

Lindsey provides admin support to the Business Team and works Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 1.30. She is also available to support Regions and Specialist Groups in developing electronic contact (e.g. regional e-newsletters or updates) with their members through The Guild’s central mailing platform.

Rebecca supports the provision of digital online and video content production for The Quilters' Guild and Festival of Quilts Limited. Rebecca works Monday to Friday 9.30 to 2.30.
