Quilters Guild Regional day

        'Quick! Piece It! My developing love of making traditional quilts in a modern way'. 

 10.30 until 3.30 

          Mini workshops"Colour and Contrast", with Carolyn Gibbs.  Bring three or more pieces of blue cotton fabric approx 4" square and go home with different scraps to the ones you brought, in what will hopefully be the inspiration for a colour scheme for a  future project.

          Make a Java Jacket  with Jackie Ledger.  Kit provided price £2. 

Make a delightful fabric covered notebook. Beryl Frank of Levenscraft. Kits provided price £2.           

 Quilters Challenge - Make a scary Halloween item; block, hanging or character.

Hebden Bridge Rag Market

An event where people will be selling all sorts of arts and craft materials, mostly second hand, and a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people and swap contacts.

 This time we've hired the Town Hall so we can offer more stalls and also provide tea and cakes.


There will be art and craft materials, including fabric, paints, wools, buttons, beads, books, new and used, recycled and vintage and everything else in between.

A fantastic opportunity to rummage through treasures, bits and bobs and inspiring items with like-minded knitters, sewists, crafters and artists. There’ll be some real bargains as well as some one-off hidden gems.
