Welcome to Region 4.

Welcome to Region 4.  Our region has some of the most beautiful areas in the country - Cornwall, Devon and Dorset.     

If you are member of Region 4 you will be aware of the events being arranged for 2010 from reading the West Country Quilter, our regional newsletter.   However, if not, details can be found on this website.

Our Guild President Marilyn Lovett will be present at the Golberden Quilters Day and is hoping to speak to as many members and non members as she can.    We will also be making the drawer for the Kate Dowty Raffle Quilt.     If you live outside of our region and would like to purchase raffle tickets for Kate's wall hanging, please contact Brenda Bonner on brenda.bonner@btopenworld.com .  Sarah O’Hora will be demonstrating how to make postcards.  With the show and tell and the challenge it will be a very exciting day and one not to be missed.

Although I will no longer be Co-ordinator I will be Conference Manager for the AGM and Conference when it comes to Exeter next year.   Please support this event.  You will get the programme in the next issue of The Quilter.  We have an excellent programme of workshops and lectures for you with both local and visiting tutors.   It is an event not to be missed.

 PATCHWORK CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS We are asked from time to time for information on patchwork classes for beginners. Below are the names of contact numbers of Quilters Guild members who also teach patchwork and do take complete beginners. If you are aware of any Guild Members who hold similar classes then please ask them to contact the Committee to ask to be added to the list.
