Welcome to Region 10: From Your Regional Co-ordinator

A warm welcome to Region 10.  We are a large region spreading from the coast of Lincolnshire in the east to the hills of Derbyshire in the west and south to Leicestershire with Nottinghamshire and Rutland in between.

Our region is full of friendly quilters who like nothing better than meeting new people whether they are visitors or new members.  We have at least two Area Days per area a year although we are without a Leicestershire/Rutland Area Rep at the moment.  There will be one Regional Day next year which will have two speakers and the usual traders and activities which go with all our Area Days.

These events are open to visitors and non members alike and they will be able to sample the wonderful Faith Lunches which are provided by our members.  Our days are busy so, if you are a 'stranger', please let us know and we will introduce you to people so that you do not feel alone.

Our next big event is 'Quilts in the Cathedral'.  This is a quilt exhibition held in Lincoln Cathedral (events page) which again is a glorious setting.  This is in October so you could also look around Lincoln and do some Christmas shopping.

We also have Pat Archibald and Sheena Norquay coming to our Region in October and Janet Cook coming in November.

Next year at the Festival of Quilts our Region is hosting the Coffee Morning (formerly Breakfast) and we are aiming to make it a fun filled morning to which all are welcome.
