Assistant Treasurer - Ann Henry-Smith

The Assistant Treasurer supports and advises Regional Treasurers, collating their annual results for inclusion in the Annual Report and Accounts.

Awards and Bursaries Officer - Angela Seabrook

The Awards and Bursaries Officer administers the various Awards and Bursaries given each year by The Guild, ensuring that they are properly publicised and administering the selection process..

The Conference Officer finds suitable venues and works together with the regional team on the planning and delivery of a successful and enjoyable annual Conference.  

Education Officer - Vacant

Our Education Officer is available as a source of information on quilting and patchwork for teachers and lecturers in the field of textiles at colleges and schools.

Exhibitions Officer - Rosemary Preece

The role of the Exhibitions Officer is to organise and administer The Guild's national exhibitions and challenges, with the help and support of her team.  Currently this includes an annual exhibition at the Knitting & Stitching Show at Olympia, the 'In the Spotlight' exhibition at the Festival of Quilts, the annual exhibition which tours with ICHF (thanks to Gilly Meeks who organises this) plus one-off exhibitions and challenges.

Festival of Quilts Officer - Maureen Dilley

This post involves the planning and organisation of The Quilters' Guild presence at the annual Festival of Quilts Exhibition in August each year. The exhibition takes place at the NEC in Birmingham and is run by Upper Street Events.

Heritage Officer - Janice Lawson

The Heritage Officer organises visits to places of interest for Guild members who are interested in historic quilts.  She also sits on the Museum Committee.

International Officer - Anne McPherson

The International Officer for The Quilters' Guild acts as a link between our organisation in the UK and our members who live abroad. She also co-ordinates publicity about exhibitions and events happening around the rest of the world and publishes this information on our web pages under "International Services" and in our magazine, The Quilter.

National Website Officer - Elizabeth Ingle

The Website Officer is responsible for the day to day management and update of The Guild web site. She is available to assist regional committees and specialist groups with the management and updating of the regional web sites.

National Young Quilter Officer - vacant

The National YQ Officer, supports the work we do with Young Quilters in the regions, at our Conference and AGM, and at Festival of Quilts in Birmingham each August.

Guild Trading Company Finance Director - Anne Gosling

The post of Finance Director of our Trading Company, FOQ Ltd which trades as QGBI Enterprises, is currently being undertaken by Anne Gosling, Guild Treasurer.

Guild Trading Company Sales Director  - Judith Dursley

Judith is a Director of our Trading Company and, together with our Retail Manager at our Head Office in York, sources the stock for the Quilt Museum Shop, which is also available on-line at www.quiltmuseumshop.org.uk and from our Regional Sales Representatives around the country. Judith is also responsible for financial matters involving the Conference and AGM.
